Cutie Melissa Ekman

Melissa Ekman model, blogger. The girl is professionally engaged in yoga, travels a lot and likes to be photographed very much. Melissa is very flexible, has a slender figure and always fascinates her subscribers with a tight body and a sweet smile. On charming Melissa Ekman in Instagram 334 thousand users are signed.

One of the reasons why it took me so long to go to my first Yoga class is because I thought you had to be GOOD at yoga! ๐Ÿ’˜ I didnโ€™t know anything about yoga and wasnโ€™t flexible, so I was nervous that everyone would judge me in class. ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ When I took my first class, I was so proud of myself that I knew what some of the poses were (I nailed downward dog ๐Ÿ˜‚). I was so eager to look around to see if people noticed my good form (lol!) and when I did - I noticed that some people in class had their eyes closed, some people were in a modified version, someone was in a childโ€™s pose and some people were in a much more advanced version that I hadnโ€™t even thought of. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ This made me realize that the only thing that should matter to me in this yoga class is within the four corners of my mat and how I feel in the pose (not that people can see me doing it)! ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ Over the years practicing yoga has helped me to realize in yoga (and in life) that there is no need to compare ourselves to other people or for the recognition of other people. The only person you should work to be better than tomorrow is the person that you are today. Donโ€™t compare yourself to other people because your journey is unique and beautiful to YOU! ๐Ÿ’• - I had to get this beautiful outfit from @Nordstrom when I saw it because the floral print makes me smile so big (itโ€™s so beautiful!!) and the drawstring on the pants make them perfect for yoga and working out! You can shop this outfit via @liketoknow.it (๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ http://liketk.it/2w3d4 )๐Ÿ’• #liketkit #ad #ZellaPro #Nordstrom

Think before you make fun of people on the Internet ๐Ÿ›‘๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ When I first started sharing yoga photos on social media I would write a positive quote as a caption every single day. From the outside looking in, it would seem that I had the clarity, positivity and wisdom to be sharing these quotes. The reality was I needed to read these quotes and remind myself of them to stop myself from slipping into a negative & depressed head space during a not so great time in my life. ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ One day I saw someone post something that was making fun of people who share a motivational or positive quote with their fitness/yoga photos on the internet (I still see people making fun of this). At first I felt so embarrassed that what I did - people thought was stupid. Maybe I was stupid for needing those quotes or enjoying them so much? Maybe putting myself out there in a vulnerable way was embarrassing? These were questions that raced through my head every time I hit share to my social media page. ๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ Pushing past caring what people think about me (and what I share on my own social media) was the best thing I ever did. ๐Ÿ’• What I have shared to my page over the years has helped me to find my passion, feel genuinely happy everyday, and become positive (and I hope has helped others feel the same as well!) ๐Ÿ’“ When I see people putting down what others do on the internet nowadays, I truly feel sadness for them. Projecting negativity, making fun of other peopleโ€™s passions or careers, and feeling good about yourself by putting others down is never a healthy way to live. ๐Ÿ’“ Be supportive (even to strangers) and always spread kindness. You never know what people are going through just by seeing photos on the internet, and you can change someoneโ€™s whole day by just being genuinely nice! Never stop sharing and doing what YOU love! ๐Ÿ’“ Xo Melis - #yoga #views #yogi #NYC #monday #inspiration

How long have you been apart of the MelisFit community (#MelisFam!!!)?! I wanted to give a warm loving welcome to all of my new friends on here and say HI! to my old friends on here (I love you all)!!! ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ If you are new to my page or donโ€™t know a lot about me I wanted to reintroduce myself!! My name is Melissa Eckman (soon to be Melissa Metrano in 188 days ๐Ÿ‘ฐ๐Ÿผ!!) I lived for the first 18 years of my life in Western Massachusetts (Home of the Basketball Hall of Fame ๐Ÿ€ & Friendlyโ€™s Ice Cream ๐Ÿฆ!) I moved to Boca Raton, FL for college and went on to a 6 year career as an accountant working at a big firm & a publicly traded company; until one day I decided to change my entire life... ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ I began MelisFit as a blog to share my healthy lifestyle in hopes to inspire people to become their own inspiration. I was going through a hard time in my life and fitness, health and positive thinking is what truly kept me from slipping into a dark place. ๐Ÿ’“ Every morning I would go to the beach and watch the sunrise, practice my yoga flows and take a photo to post to Instagram with a positive quote. These quotes were things I needed to hear at the time and before I knew it I was building a digital community of like-minded people who I looked forward to connecting with everyday. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ At the end of 2015 I decided to leave everything behind: my job, my family, my home (I even sold my plates and silverware) to move to Los Angeles, CA to blog full time, build a business with health, wellness and positivity as its core, and just be ridiculously happy (because life is too short to be sad). ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ What I found is this: When you follow your dreams, your passion, and work really hard, anything is possible. You are not defined by your current circumstances and you can change your life at any time for no reason at all. ๐Ÿ’˜ On my page I share a lot of yoga & fitness tips (teaching yoga is one of biggest passions), health, my dog Brady, positivity, and about my life. Iโ€™m so happy youโ€™re here!! If you made it to the end of this (thank you!!) leave your favorite heart emoji in the comments and tell me something about yourself!!! I canโ€™t wait to read!! ๐Ÿ’“ Xo Melis - #yoga #beach #yogi #yogalove
