It’s the weekend what are your plans? Comment below I comment back and like 👇🏽 _ I’ve been struggling with my thyroid meds but still staying on my program. I feel good about bikinis all season long this year which was the goal. Every weekend I’m like what, beach, what pool, where are we going lol. This lady said to me via DM the other day “I can not believe you wear a thong in public, what about your kids? ” 😂 I was like “lady do you know I worked on this body AFTER 4 kids, just so I can be comfortable enough to do this.” Don’t shame me because I’m proud or comfortable with my body. That’s like working for years and finally buying your dream car then NOT driving it because of how others may feel about themselves or you. I honestly think more women should worry less about what others think about them and just be happy. We waste so much time worrying about judgement but it’s something you can’t control. They will judge you no matter what if that’s what’s in their heart. Make yourself happy and love your body. You are beautiful! Cellulite, stretch marks, and loose skin is something we focus on but others don’t see. I have all 3 but I’m still out here like 😃 _ Do you need help with a workout and meal plan? Click the link in my bio now I’m answering and looking for 10 new clients. ✨👙❤️ _ #bikini #body #fitmom #fitness #love #womenempowerment #embrace #curves #latina #beach #vacation #vacations #travel

🙌🏽My book is being re-edited as many of you know it’s a memoir of my life it will have a motivational spin to it. We finally shot the cover and I see it being released soon. Here is part of the prologue which still brings me to tears. _ “EVERYBODY. PUT. YOUR. HANDS. UP!” These very words that haunt me as a grown up, that invade my dreams and leave me in a cold sweat were spoken by men who I thought were supposed protect and serv. Instead, in their attempt to make the world safe for others, they made my world feel unsafe and confused. Men in black invaded my home that day many years ago, pointing big guns at me, my parents and my siblings. Strangers entered our house from all directions screaming at us. I was only five, but I knew that day that something horrible was happening – I just didn’t know how horrible it really was, all I felt that day was complete and utter terror. My hands were shaking; I was crying uncontrollably, I did not understand what was happening. I ran to my mom only to be ripped from her arms placed on the floor held down by a masked person. I was screaming and so scared, there was so much chaos going on I couldn’t process the situation. They handcuffed my parents placed them on the couch and began literally tearing our house apart, that is the very moment when I understood who these men in black were, they were the police. My life was consistently full of experiences such as drug raids, experiences when I did not feel safe in the very place I should have felt safe. As a child I was innocent and did not choose that life but I was forced into it because of the careless selfish decisions my parents made. I loved them and hated them at the same time. To this day that one traumatic experience I still carry with me. To understand me I have to start at the beginning. _ We are all so complex right? Our life experiences mold us into who we are. I’m grateful that I didn’t let my circumstances define me. I was able to rise above and I’m in a position to help others. Thank you all for following me I have so many amazing things in the works I can’t wait to share them all with you. _ #life #resilient #resilience #childofgod #godschild #hope

Top 5 vacation spots you want to visit? Comment your thoughts below 👇🏽 _ When I was a kid we grew up on section 8, food stamps and welfare. My parents would only travel 2 hours away if we did travel. A vacation was leaving us in a hotel room at night so they could break into coke machines. As kids we were stressed when we left because if they got caught we would be in a hotel room alone. Vacations was not something I looked forward to at all because of those memories. I had no idea what a REAL vacation looked like. I didn’t know you could work hard and earn all inclusive vacations. _ As an adult now I travel a lot and I absolutely love vacations. My goal is to expose my kids to as many different cultures as possible. I’ve learned how important it is to relax and enjoy your life. I’m in Punta Cana this week on an Herbalife vacation I earned. Last year they took us to DisneyWorld in FL, next year we’re going to Oahu, Hawaii and Singapore to name just a few places. I’ve also qualified for team vacations to Cancun, MX, TimberMoose, and Las Vegas. Im so grateful for time freedom, fun and traveling I’m able to earn. I’m grateful I get rewarded with these vacations and I’m most grateful to my sponsor Tomica Adams for offering the Herbalife opportunity to me. Who knew a small one time fee 2 years ago would completely change my life. I didn’t know I could possibly be this happy! ❤️ Travel, love and be happy! _ Income applicable to the individuals (or examples depicted and not average

👉🏽What’s the longest you ever held a grudge over someone and why? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Me: 2 years, I can say I’m not mad I just don’t allow that relative into my life. _ ✨Let it go and walk away!! ✨ _ Sometimes in life things happen and we spend so much time trying to figure them out. I've learned doing that stalls you, sometimes stops you all together. Things happen in life and we internalize them thinking "what could I have done to avoid this" or "what did I do wrong" sometimes things happen and have nothing to do with us, we're not at fault. It's just easier to place the blame on ourselves. When you get in that place of standstill emotions run high because you have nothing but your own thoughts to sit in. It's hard but you don't always need to find an answer sometimes life happens. Sometimes God takes things and people out of your life and the answer as to why will come with a blessing down the line. You won't find that blessing though if you don't turn around and walk away. Trust that God will fight your battles and that God has a plan. It's not your place to figure it out, understand it, or dwell on it. I know it sounds easier said than done but from my own life experience I promise it's true. WALK AWAY from anything that no longer serves you, grows you, or makes you happy. • • • "I didn't give up, I walked away I had enough of accepting actions that were less than I deserved. So... I made a concious choice To honour myself, Before complementing another & If that's what; has made you undeniably mad, Than I know, the history of our connection is hidden in the truth of your heart and regardless of your outcome, I have made the right choice for me."- Nikki Rowe #life #advice #love #fitfam #blessed #happy #walkaway #respect #you #herbalife

⭐️Too many times we stay stuck in our mistakes and we let it hold us back from happiness. We get stuck unable to move forward and we lose time with regret. Have you ever had a lover who broke your heart so you decided to build walls and never let anyone in again. Did you cry for weeks trying to figure out what you did wrong or where things went wrong? Have you been let go from a job and felt helpless but couldn't figure out how to move forward? Sometimes we get stuck trying to figure out what we could have done differently. Maybe you failed on a diet, you start and stop never showing consistency or results so you decide nothing will work for me. Are you giving up on your health and happiness because your afraid to try again. • 💥Here is the thing, each day the sun sets and rises it gives you an opportunity to start over. We have to let go of the past mistakes we have made we are not those mistakes we can not move forward unless we let go, renew and release. Don't get stuck in the what if I fail, what if I get hurt, what if I can't do it? What if you can? What if your amazing? What if that one leap of faith leads you into a new life! You'll never know how strong you are until you can find the lesson in each failure and use it to efficiently move forward. We learn to walk by falling down. If we never fell down, we would never walk. You will make mistakes and you will go through rough times the trick is to get back up and keep going. • 💕You are here NOW with the power to shape your day and your future. Let go of what happened yesterday, last year, or as a child we can not control the past but we do have the power to not let it control you. Be who you are and enjoy the present because the present is amazing, each day is an opportunity to start over, use it to grow and be better. 💚 _ #herbalife #determination #transformation #love #life #blessings #future #family #move #happy #advice #mindset #positivity #positivevibes #fashionnovababe #fashionnova

👋🏽Do you ever scroll through social media and feel like changing how you look in some way? _ Since I can remember I've never been happy with my body. I grew up in a body image of the Dolly Parton era 👀 Big boobs. I remember as a child in Jr high stuffing my bra with my best friend. From a young age I had a negative self image of myself and my body. I always wanted to follow the fads I saw on TV and magazines. I covered my booty with a flannel and stuffed my bra as a teen. 🤷🏽‍♀️. As soon as I turned 18 I got breast implants and when I turned 21 I got bigger breast implants which I now regret very much. _ You would think after the breast implants I would feel better but no then I started obsessing on the cellulite on the back of my thighs. I would pick out small things about myself that I hated and I would obsess. I never looked in a mirror and though "Yes I look good" I only saw the bad or what I didn't like. I don't look at photos of myself to because I'll be sad that I feel like I look ugly or fat or I'll find a flaw. I have tried every yo yo fad diet on the market before I discovered "meal prepping" and proper nutrition. Only a few years ago I feel in love with the “feeling” of healthy rather than the fads of appearance. On a side note, I’m happy “booty” became a thing lol now I can embrace it rather than hiding it. As I scroll through social media I sometimes feel the pressure to fit in. Maybe I need blonde hair, colored eyes, lighter skin or smaller boobs? 😂 It’s normal ladies but just know YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!! __ God created me perfectly, I am most beautiful when I feel it, not when others approve of it. Beauty is within and it shines through you. Beauty is a perception and everyone will have a different opinion on what that is. You have to know your beautiful and understand not everyone will see it but who cares. Don’t dim your light because it’s shining in their eyes. ☀️ I’ll still play with wigs and contacts because it’s fun. I love dressing up but I never lose sight of how important inner beauty is. 🙌🏽 You can change your appearance if it makes you feel beautiful but don’t change it to convince others your beautiful. ❤️ #innerbeauty

🙅🏽Stop letting people tell you “you can’t do it” and talk you out of something you really want. _ People will always try and talk you out of something they can’t do simply because if you do it then it shows they are capable. They would have to face the fact that maybe they have been making too many excuses or they are just lazy. If you want something go after it no matter what anyone says. Believe in yourself, you don’t need validation from others to accomplish what is important to you. _ The best part of pushing through negativity? • The best part of overcoming those negative comments is that once you get to your goal you reach back and pull others up. Most times the people who said you couldn’t do it or talked negative about your goal will be the ones asking how. You will be an inspiration to others, you will be the light in the dark for them. _ ⏬Have you ever had a goal you gave up because someone talked you out of it? Share in the comments please. ⏬ • When I made the decision to compete in NPC all my social media followers said “You can’t do that” I almost believed them and gave up. I decided to push through anyway. I learned to be my own cheerleader. My goal was to get on stage and prove you can do anything you put your mind to. I went on stage and won my first show I took home 3 trophies that night. In the process I was able to give so many others hope and that made the struggle worth it. I learned so much through that journey. #life #goals #positivevibes #believe #noexcuses #fashion #hope #change #changinglives #scorpio #lifeisbeautiful

💁🏽‍♀️Where are you from? I’m from #corpuschristi #Texas born and raised. 🌊☀️🏡 _ 👋🏽Where is home to you? Does it have to be where you were born? 🤱🏻I feel like home is where my heart is at. ❤️I haven’t lived in Corpus Christi in decades and I absolutely love it there. 🌊It’s seen so much change things that were familiar to me are now gone. Some great memories some not so much. I’m not close to my family that lives there so I don’t visit much anymore. ✈️I’ve moved a lot over the years, I’ve lived in 🍁NC, ⛄️Minnesota, 🌵Texas, ☀️California, 🥨Philadelphia and 🌋Hawaii. California always feels like the most familiar in regards to home. Los Angeles is so wide spread if you want a change you can go from Valencia to San Pedro and poof it’s totally different but still LA. 🌇 _ Most recently I moved from LA to Kauai, Hawaii 🏝my brother and his wife live there and love it. I moved last October but after about 6 months I decided to move back to LA. 💔 It was a tough decision to come back, there are so many things I love about the island. I feel like my heart is there I just love the island. For this time in my life I don’t think I can live there but I miss it so much. Hawaii feels like home to me even though I’m not from there. 🏄🏽‍♀️I’m looking for a summer home on the island and I’m excited to see how I can combine LA and Kauai. 🎇Life is too short to not make yourself happy even when it seems impossible. Eventually I’ll end up there again sometime in the future on a permanent basis. ❤️✨ #kauai #hawaii #beach #islandgirl #islands #islandvibes #bikini #home #texas #love #goals #family #hope

Have you ever looked at something or someone and thought “I would love that but it will never happen for me”? 👇🏽Comment below one thing you feel you want but can’t make happen? _ I grew up very poor, my parents were heroine addicts, and I never had a goal for myself growing up. I literally just floated through life with no purpose. I didn’t have anyone I looked up to and I fell into a space of feeling lucky to have made it this far so what does it matter. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I wish someone had told me something so simple like, the goal is to graduate school, figure out your passion and pursue it. As kids it’s important to hear the words “you can do anything if you believe, you can be more”. The power of belief is strong and it starts when we are children. As kids we believe in Santa, the Easter bunny but as adults we find it hard to believe in ourselves. It’s crazy right? I never thought I could help inspire others through my struggles. I never thought I could lead this amazing team of powerful women. I never thought I could compete as a bikini competitor at a national level. I never thought I could travel the world. I never imagined someone would say “because of you I didn’t give up”.... Me? Really, my words have an impact. Growing up I never felt wanted, loved or important. I wanted to be, I think we all do but to see it come to pass is something I never imagined. It started with a belief though and a willingness to put my fear to the side. With everything I mentioned I had to overcome fear, believe in myself and JUMP! I believe now if you want something you can absolutely manifest it no matter how out of reach you think it is. Take action if there is a place you want to go plan it! Write it down, do some research, read a book on it and make it happen. If you want to be an influencer, tell your stories be vulnerable, educate others. If you want to compete in fitness or be a health coach take the steps to make it happen. If no one told you .... you can do and be anything you want! _ “Don't be afraid of your fears. They're not there to scare you. They're there to let you know that something is worth it.” -C. JoyBell

“Create a vision for the life you really want and then work relentlessly towards making it a reality.” ― Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart _ Close your eyes and envision yourself truly happy. Happy with yourself, your home, and your workplace. What does that look like for you? Now create a plan on how you'll get there don't put the pressure of a time limit on your vision but work at it everyday. Getting to that place will take hard work and you'll need to do things to keep yourself on track when you want to give up. I suggest doing things like turning off music and listening to personal development, creating a vision board that you can look at daily and most important PLAN!! Plan your day, your week, your meals, make small goals of things you want to accomplish. Successful people don't walk without a purpose, you can not succeed at weight loss for example without meal prepping, planning in advance when you'll workout. You can be truly happy with every aspect of your life but you need to take control and make it happen. We all get the same 24 hours in a day what you choose to do with that time will determine your happiness. Ask yourself can I go an hour less with sleep so I can work out, how can I get to that promotion and what can I do to stay motivated daily! You can do this just start taking the steps to get it all under control. Change your habits create a vision and go after it! _ #life #advice #kauai #love #vision #bikini #latina

Hawaii next week!! I’m excited to be back on the island. After that I’ll be in Punta Cana and then Mexico!! Lots of travel coming up I can’t wait to share it all with you! _ 😍Reasons Why Vacations Matter 💥Vacations Relieve Stress---Stress is a true physiological response originally meant to help us and keep us safe. It releases hormones such as cortisol and epinephrine for the fight or flight response that was necessary for early man. However, in modern society, chronic stress can be destructive to our bodies. Getting away for regular vacations and leaving our every day stresses give us a break from the constant high levels of these hormones and a chance to repair some of the damage. 💥 Vacations Help Prevent Heart Disease---Stress is one of the major contributors to heart disease and high blood pressure. Long-term studies in both men and women have shown that vacations can reduce the risk of heart disease and heart attack. Men who vacationed regularly were more than 32% less likely to die from a heart attack. For women who vacation regularly, that figure jumps to 50% less likely to die from a heart attack. (2010 Framingham Heart Study) 💥 Vacations Help You Get Thinner---A majority of overweight individuals admit to mindless eating as a response to stress. Stress hormones such as cortisol are linked to increased belly fat and weight gain, which is linked to heart disease. Studies have shown that even when indulging a little more on vacation, people whoregularly vacation feel more energized and are often more active on vacation. They were also found to have improved glucose levels and even had some weight loss around their waists. 💥Vacations Make You Happier---Neuroscientists have found that brain structure can actually be altered by chronic exposure to stress hormones contributing to depression and anxiety. Research shows that women who do not take regular vacations were three times more likely to be depressed and anxious. This corroborates a survey that found people who take regular vacations reported feeling extremely happy with an overall feeling of well-being compared to those who did not vacation. #vacation #happy #love #free #health #transformation
