The community of tennis judges is ready to boycott the matches of Serena Williams because of her words to the arbiter of the US Open finals in the women's category. American tennis player called the judge of that match Carlos Ramos "liar" and "thief" after he warned Williams for violating the rules of the game with the Japanese Naomi Osaka. After the match, Williams also accused the judiciary of the women's tour of sexism. It was supported by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) and the US Tennis Association (USTA). According to The Times, the fact of protection of Williams and the confession of the judge led to the withdrawal of other arbitrators. According to the publication, inside the community of judges there are ideas of boycotting or striking against cases of unfair treatment from the direction of the tour. An anonymous source of the publication also said that many judges regarded the WTA statements as a betrayal and intend to refuse to attend matches with Serena Williams until she apologized to Ramos for her words. It is worth noting that Ramos supported the International Tennis Federation (ITF), which stated that the judge's decisions against Williams were consistent with all the rules.
